K.D Bwalya, Managing Director

Kangwa has over 25 years of experience and has held several senior leadership positions both locally and internationally. He previously worked for ZAMEFA in various senior positions including Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary. At the time of his departure in 2011, Kangwa was serving as Acting Managing Director.
Internationally, Kangwa served as CFO for the Asia Pacific region of General Cable Corporation, among others. He holds an MBA from the University of Essex, UK, and a B.Acc from the Copperbelt University (Zambia). Kangwa is also a Fellow of both the ACCA (UK) and the ZICA (Zambia). He was appointed Managing Director of ZAMEFA and Executive Director on the ZAMEFA Board effective 14 September 2021. Immediately prior to this appointment, Kangwa was the Managing Director for ZAFFICO PLC.
P.W de Villiers, Non – Executive Director

Pieter joined CBi Electric African Cables in 2000 as Production Manager and later became Technical Director of that company. Before joining CBi, Pieter worked for USKO Limited and Morris Material Handling.
On 26 August 2016, Pieter was appointed General Manager-Africa Operations and Executive Director on the ZAMEFA Board.
G.J.H Steyn, Head of Administration | African Operations

Johan completed his articles with KPMG and left as an audit supervisor to join ATC (Proprietary) Limited. After working on various tasks and capacities, Johann was appointed as Divisional Director Finance of the company and subsequently appointed as Head of Internal Audit of Reunert Limited.
At the end of 2008 Johan was appointed as Financial Director of CBi Electric: African Cables, a division of ATC (Proprietary) Limited.
On 26 August 2016, Johan was appointed Head of Administration- Africa Operations and Executive Director on the ZAMEFA Board.
G. Bracho, Plant Manager

Electrical Engineer from Instituto Universitario Politécnico de las Fuerzas Armadas Nacionales (IUPFAN – Venezuela) with more than 25 years of experience in the wire and cables industry in different countries namely Venezuela, Panamá, New Zealand, South Africa and Zambia.
During this period he has occupied different positions, starting as Design Engineer, Process Engineer, Technical Manager, and Operations Managerial positions in the last 20 years.
E. Mangoni, Financial Controller

Emmanuel Mangoni began his professional career in 2003 at Deloitte and Touché immediately after he completed his Bachelor of Accountancy degree at the Copperbelt University. In 2005 he moved to join Industrial Credit Company as an Accountant and served in that capacity until 2007 when he took the decision to join Metal Fabricators of Zambia Plc as projects accountant.
He has risen through the ranks and served as finance manager and finally as financial controller. He is a member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants.
S. Sikombe, Human Resources Manager

Stephen Sikombe is a seasoned Human Capital Practitioner and Consultant with over 29 years work experience in the field of Human Capital Management & Administration, spanning from July 1987.
He holds a Master’s Degree MBA in Organizational Leadership from University of Zambia, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with major in Business & Economics and a postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management.
